Danielle Svetcov

Agent

The last time Danielle Svetcov tried to do something other than write or edit, she burned a turkey fricassee while giving a cooking demo with Jacques Pepin. Lesson learned.

Now, when she's not working on her own fiction, she's scouting for literary talent and polishing proposals and manuscripts for Levine Greenberg clients. She's a bit old-fashioned in her tastes: she likes ruminative narrators with snappy elocutionary style, awkward heroes, and anything set in damp castles. Recent loves or reunions: Catcher in the Rye, I Capture the Castle, The Forsythe Saga, The Feast of Love, A Passage to India, Birds of America, and the Spenser series by Robert Parker. Prior to Levine Greenberg, Danielle worked as a freelance writer, an editor, a kitchen slave, and a pastry hawker. She recently completed her MFA in fiction at Warren Wilson College. She lives in California.
